Free-to-Air Tv
Proposal:
Free-to-air tv in New Zealand is often poor quality. Many programmes that are potentially harmful to children and even to society in general, are aired. What is shown should be more carefully controlled.Tv-Violence2.jpg

cartoons they watch as well."

you blame the parents
not the tv?"
RYAN: " Parents have a
responsibility but the
government must have some responsibility
because some parents don't"

" Some little kids don't even understand what the violence means"
RYAN "Exactly.....they copy it for no
reason."

" If there was no censorship at all what
would be your biggest worry?

RYAN " The violence.
Society would go down hill. Tv directly affects social problems. We would go from peace
to violence"
Tonu: "Kids sometimes learn that
violence is bad from seeing violence"
Ryan: " With tv though the
purpose is not to learn against
the violence..... they (the
tv companies) use violence
to entertain..."
